On Sunday 8th June, Sky Sports News visited Hambledon to try and establish whether the 'spirit of cricket' was still alive. Jim Cockin from the channel interviewed various club members to get insights into sledging, whether a batsman should walk and whether the spirit of the game is changing. Amongst those interviewed included 1st XI player and Level 2 coach Dan Hewitt, Hon. Sec. Chris de Mellow and U9B Manager and Coach David Brown. All were excellent - especially considering all the interviews went out live! The channel reported high levels of feedback from their audience following the interviews - they are clearly a very thought-provoking bunch!

A selection of photos from the morning can be found below - we have also been promised an audio file of all the interviews.
